An ideal knife starter set, this dynamic duo comprises two of our most popular knives in smaller, more nimble sizes. There’s a petite, 6-inch chef’s knife ideal for everyday slicing, dicing and mincing, plus a versatile serrated sandwich knife perfect for cutting crusty bread, sandwiches, tomatoes and bagels. (The latter has a round, broad, blade for spreading, too; it’s the knife equivalent of the everything bagel!) Both knives are forged from 67 layers of Japanese Damascus steel for a harder blade–a 60 Rockwell rating–and a sharper edge that stays sharp longer, for effortless slicing.

13 cm sandwich knife has scalloped serrations designed to cut through the crispy, soft crust of breads and bagels, and effortlessly through delicate-skinned fruits and vegetables.
Knives utilise the 3-step Honbazuke sharpening method – plus an advanced heat treatment to enhance hardness and corrosion resistance – resulting in a super-sharp, 12-degree edge.
Arched design and amazing ergonomic grip features a unique green Pakkawood handle, infused with resin to increase resistance to moisture, cracking and splintering.

Cleaning

Hand wash with a gentle dish soap that is free of bleach or citrus extracts. Rinse and towel dry immediately.

Storage

We recommend that you store your knife in a wooden block, in-drawer knife tray, sheath, or knife case.

In addition, damage resulting from dishwasher use, knives left soaking/standing in water, not dried immediately after washing, or use in a foodservice setting is not covered by this warranty. The following conditions are not covered by our lifetime warranty: dulled blades, pakkawood handle damage, rust, discoloration, and bent/broken/chipped/snapped knife blades.

The Rockwell Scale measures knife hardness. A score of 58-60 is considered optimal; ours hits 60 thanks to an advanced heat treatment–a process of tempering and quenching the steel–that enhances its hardness.
